How to increase job skills in Mechanical Engineering?

Engineering job

We do have the option of Production, manufacturing, quality inspection, Designing, Automobiles, Maintenance, Research, thermodynamics and Calibration in Mechanical Engineering.

Most of these books deliver the theoretical aspect of the subjects.

I know we also have some practicals to perform in every subject but doing this limited to our lab capabilities.

As per the past employment survey, only 2 out of 10 engineering student able to get a job. (Except the chams like startups and business property holders)

You were well aware of our current educational system scenario. If we talk about the engineering education system, we roughly have 45 subjects to learn by the meaningful books.

Let’s try to understand the present Mechanical engineering scenario.

We do have the option of Production, manufacturing, quality inspection, Designing, Automobiles, thermodynamics and Calibration field.

But every field requires a unique skill, for example, if you are interested in the field of Engineering design you should have to know knowledge of GD & T and designing software like AutoCAD, CATIA, SOLIDWORKS, PRO-E.

career in mechanical engineering

The same engineering applied to other fields also like for Calibration Engineer you should know how instruments works, Standards and relevant parameters.

Let me provide you with a list of skills in every Mechanical Engineering field.

  2. Hi thanks for adding this skills,
    Best of luck 👍

    1. Thank you Shubham 🙂

  3. Hello sir,
This year I finished polytechnic. I have also learned AutoCAD and Solidworks and I am confused for my future. I want to study but my family won’t be able. Can I study further by doing a related job with AutoCAD and Solidworks. If a good college cannot be found, does the B.Tech have any value?

    1. Hi Aaqib,
      Thanks for writing in!
You can do the job with the study in the same field.
About the Engineering college, Yes if you can not find a good ranking college for BE/B.tech probably it just a piece of paper.
But if you have experience in the same department that makes a difference.

      1. Dear sir,
In my college, I gave 6 interviews and all of them i rejected. I did my best but i rejected. Such students of my class who never came to college they were selected. The last semester is still left. Probably there will be an exam next month and i don’t Understand what to do after that

      2. Hi, I understand your situation.
I also experienced unemployed for one year.
Try to focus on the reason that makes you rejected and never give up 🙂
