Our Boeing Research & Technology (BR&T) Europe team is looking an Aerospace Structural Analysis Engineer and Developer (F,M,D) for our Integrated Vehicle Systems (IVS) Structural Technologies team a Mechanical Engineer in Munich, Germany.

Position Responsibilities:

The candidate will focus primarily on supporting Boeing Research & Technology on the development of Advanced Calculation Methods for isotropic and orthotropic materials using analytical and numerical methods
Perform research with respect to material modelling isotropic and orthotropic materials in analytics and numerical software programs
Qualification, verification and validation of new developed material and failure models
Support in test campaign to determine material values and allowable in 3 directions for all kind of aerospace materials
Sizing of aerospace parts with a combination of linear and non-linear methods in the framework of aerospace certification by supporting tests with simulation
Communication between design, production and testing in integrated vehicle systems teams
Programming, verification and validation of advanced material models in different finite element software’s
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

A very good understanding of programming
A very solid understanding of structural engineering and material modelling
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
Deep experience in either Fortran, C/C++, Matlab or Pyhton
Very good experience in either MSC Nastran & Patran, Altair HyperMesh, Optistruct & Multiscale Designer is required
Experience in Microsoft Excel and macro programming
Very good English speaking and writing skills are essential.

A cross the discipline thinking
German language skills are a plus.
Typical Education and Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years’ related work experience).,
