If you are a Manufacturing Engineer professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you!  Based in our East Wenatchee, Washington location, you will support the production and testing of our custom pressure and temperature sensors.

AS A MANUFACTURING ENGINEER, YOU WILL:

Oversee production testing of our pressure and temperature sensors.
Design and Develop new Test systems.
Drive new developments around safety, process improvement and optimization.
Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
Develop written procedures and training to support products and equipment.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical support.
Work on a multidisciplinary team to solve complicated problems as part of the Manufacturing Engineering Department.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

B.S. degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or other relevant field
Zero (0) – Two (2) or more years of relevant experience
Must be a U.S. Person – “Per ITAR requirements, an applicant must be a U.S. Person to be eligible for this position.  U.S. Persons include individuals who are (1) citizens or nationals of the U.S., (2) lawful permanent residents, (3) admitted as refuges, or (4) are granted asylum in the United States.
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

Three (3) or more years of relevant experience
Experience working with electrical, pressure systems and/or automation
Knowledgeable about a Wheatstone bridge and its applications in pressure sensors
Familiarity with one or more of the following: C#, Python, LabVIEW, VBA, or Microsoft SQL
Experience in a manufacturing or testing environment
Six Sigma/Lean experience or certification
