Siemens Digital Industries Software in Pune is looking for a Learning Architect to join our Global Delivery Network team.
Create/Design project test plans to qualify the contents of project requirements and functional specifications. Focus is on automated testing. Proactively setup a test strategy and process. Design test cases listed in the project test plan. Improve test specifications by analyzing the root causes of technical issues, and develop testing solutions for those root causes. Create and apply new approaches as necessary to improve the productivity and efficiency of testing. Acquire customer inputs for project testing purposes. Technical lead in guiding junior test automation engineers.
Work with minimal supervision on complex projects with latitude for independent judgment.
Evaluate the functional and non-functional requirements for testability, and use suitable cases for automation
Develop/build a test automation strategy and focus specifically on maximizing reusability for regression
Design, build and execute automated tests to validate product design
Identify regression testing needs and create and maintain Automated Regression tests
Provide test execution reports
Work closely with architects to analyze the end-to-end scenarios, gather requirements, and design the test cases that needs to be automated
Maintain automated scripts utilizing the existing framework, adhering to coding standards
Participate in troubleshooting and drive root cause analysis and resolution
Prerequisites:
3-5 years of relevant experience in Test automation tool primarily using Java with Selenium preferably Engineering projects
Deep understanding in developing test scripts using tools like Selenium, TestNG
Rest Assured/Postman Hands-on experienceExperience with source control management tools (GitHub, Jenkins) Proven ability in building test strategy and test plans Comfortable with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment
Good to have expertise in programming languages like Java Good understanding of Agile development and Scrum practices along with experience in Cloud infrastructure
Experience with reporting tool like TFS Familiarity with load testing for multiple microservice components Creative approach towards automation testing Intuitive individual with an ability to manage change and proven time management
Proven interpersonal and communications skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
